Meet the rest of the participants at the nearest pick up point to your hotel and departure towards Milazzo to embark to Panarea. Time at leisure. Panarea is the second smallest island (after Basiluzzo) of the eight Aeolian Islands, a chain of volcanic islands north of Sicily.
Currently there are about 280 residents who live on the island all year round, however the population increases dramatically in summer with the influx of tourists. In recent years, the island is known for being the island visited by famous visitors.
Continue towards Stromboli. Free time to visit the island. Boarding at the end of the day to enjoy the spectacular lava flows from the boat. Stromboli has been in continuous eruption for the last 2,000 years.

The explosions producing craters on the top at intervals ranging from several minutes to several hours. This characteristic eruption has given the name Strombolian activity that is observed in the whole world. The activity of Stromboli is almost exclusively explosive, however, the lava flows at times when volcanic activity are high.
